Milner's Tower, Port Erin

edit

Milner's Tower stands prominently atop of Bradda Head

Milner's Tower was erected in 1871 on Bradda Head in Port Erin. [1] It was built in memory of William Milner and was erected during his lifetime.[1] The building was constructed to resemble the first key or lock of Milner's safes standing on end as Milner was a fireproof safe manufacturer.[2] The structure is about 40 ft high with a spiral staircase on the east side.[3]
