Etunda Irrigation Scheme
editEtunda irrigation Scheme located at Ruacana in the northern region of Namibia.The manager of Etunda Scheme is Mr Johan le Riche. Etunda started with few people, but now the number of people increases every year. The project is divided into two parts, commercial and small scale farming. The small-scale farmers grows variety types of crops throughout the year.They sell their products to different places in counrtywide[1]. Although they are successfull sell their foods,they still face the problem of transporting their products from place-to-place since some do not have transport. They even produce a lot of products,but there is no place to store it in the farm. The small farmes also offers casual jobs to the nearby villagers and they earns foods for their famillies[2].
