Onyelelo is a small village in Okaku constituency,Oshana region, Ondonga district.Its between Ondangwa and oshakati near the road.This village was established before the independence by a group of women and men . Like other villages our village has a headman too. Since when the village was established until now Onyelelo is still with the same headman Mr:Jurius Aron.He has been the headman for 26years.The people who were and living are vambo people . the majority are Ndonga And Kwanyama.There is are well known super markets such as Huhu city , The system and sun city.

Agricultural resources

although this village is almost near town, people in this village had keep the tradition of their forefather. they cultivates mahangu in order to feed themselves and their family.People don't usually go to town to buy mahangu because they produce this by themselves. They look after cattle , goats and sheep for meat purpose.Donkeys are also looked after in our village. This is because donkeys are used as a means of transport as well as cultivating. Some of the people in our village use tap water while others use water from the dam and well. Agricultural resources are important in Onyelelo village and Namibia at large.


Education, church and health service

Although people in our village seems old fashion they does understand why education is needed nowadays. Parents make sure that they sent their children at school for them to be better people in future. There are 2 schools , churches and a clinic in our village.
