Wikipedia is an experiment which needs to be brought to an end. I now actively work in any capacity I can in my life to see it is deprecated and its use is relegated to nothing more than "light introduction." Anyone using this as an authoritative source is making a huge mistake. If you find that hard to comprehend, just ask yourself: who, exactly DID make these edits I'm reading? Then imagine someone you would normally never take seriously in real life, and you might begin to understand the problems.
