My real name is David Foster. I was born in Provo, Utah and I now live in Ogden, Utah. I worked as a respiratory therapist for years until I suffered from two pulmonary embolisms, the first one in 2009 and the second, nearly a year to the day later in 2010 that nearly killed me.
I was a student at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah where I studied geography and philosophy before changing my major to Respiratory Therapy. It was 1987, and I was working at McKay-Dee hospital as a respiratory therapy equipment technician, when they offered to pay my tuition, if I went into the health care field. I took the offer and I was required to work for Mckay-Dee hospital for at least two years after I got my certificate. I received my Associates degree in applied science in 1989, and became a Certified Respiratory Therapist after passing the certification in 1990. I was there until April of 1996, then I got a better job with a higher salary at the Tooele Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center.
My career in respiratory therapy ended after I was injured while rollerblading on July 10, 1997. Since then I have worked at a variety of jobs, landscaping, home care and a company that contracted with various jobs in the telephone & wireless industry.
In regards to my being able to contribute to Wikipedia, I have quite a bit of knowledge about many different subjects, ranging from anatomy and physiology, the pulmonary system, music, books, vaping, psychedelics, absinthe, travel and geography.
