The Adventures of Twilight Sparkle is an American–Canadian children's animated television series and is a sequel to My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. The series focuses on Twilight Sparkle and her friends on how to solve a problem throughout the series. At the beginning of the series, Twilight Sparkle uses her Element of Magic to defeat Lord Tirek for stealing her cutie mark. The series premiered on the relaunch of Discovery Family on October 13, 2014 and ended after 3 seasons and 78 episodes on January 21, 2017. Like its sequel, the series was produced by DHX Media and Hasbro Studios.
