I'm a PhD student at Seoul National University, South Korea.
The focus of my research is on improving efficiency of plant production within closed ecological systems by light manipulation in fundamental levels. I'm currently working on "Plant factory" concept (similar to the vertical farming concept) that will compete with modern glasshouses and traditional agriculture in the future.
To compete with current agricultural methods, economic feasibility-efficiency, ultimately- is of a tremendous concern and major focus of research. This will also be critical for development of advanced BRLSS/CELSS systems in the future.
