Mormon Helping Hands

edit
Mormon Helping Hands often assist with disaster relief

In addition to the church's other various philanthropic activities, one of the most noteworthy are the Mormon Helping Hands. A program that is focused on providing community service[1] and relief for victims of disaster[2], the Helping Hands have been offering service in their respective areas since 1998.[3] Along with providing physical labor, the church also provides materials needed for cleaning and aid.[4] Operations of the Helping Hands are typically administrated by the local ecclesiastical leadership.[4]
