I'm an avid kayaker and fan of classic space trading game Elite (particularly ArcElite, which content I maintain under the username 'Break' on the Elite Wiki). I speak English and Finnish and have several machines running RISC OS, the operating system of choice for Acorn Archimedes enthusiasts - my main box is a Kinetic RiscPC running 4.03 (softloaded to 4.39), and CF cards for main storage. My other interests include leading an English-language Scout troop in Finland, spending a lot of time practicing bushcraft, backwoodsmanship, and getting out hiking and camping. In the winter months I fiddle with servers and play around with my network, but I'm only a hobbyist nerd. I like to build things from spare parts - electronics, models, woodcraft, whatever. I also enjoy charcoal sketching and portraiture, as well as artistic photography. I run a small wiki dedicated to Uromastyx lizards, called the UroWiki, which is the only resource of its type to be found online. My own lizard is a u. ocellata.
