John Okafor (popularly called Mr Ibu) is a top Nollywood actor and comedian. Okafor is unquestionably one of Nigeria’s most talented comic characters. Biography

He was born on 17 October 1960 into a humble family in Ankanu Local Government Area of Enugu State. He attended Community Central School, Eziokpo and studied Mass Communication at the Institute of Management Technology.He is married with kids he grew up under the guidance of his grandfather, who was his source of inspiration. He has acted in more than 70 movies including Mr Ibu (2004), Mr Ibu in London (2004), Police Recruit (2003), 9 wives (2005), and Keziah (2007). Career

His flair for acting began when he was invited to play the role of a farmer in a popular TV comedy Hotel de Jordan in Benin-City, Edo State, Nigeria. His professional acting career began in his first role in Rolling Stone in the then Anambra State Television, before heading on to Nollywood with his first movie Don’t Cry for Me. He is famous for his role in the popular comedy Mr. Ibu. Other Movies
