Ferguson's Gang Between the two world wars a group of debutantes defied society and formed Ferguson’s Gang. They had one sole aim – to preserve Edwardian England from the invasion of house builders and bungalows.   Their minute book 'The Boo' recounts the Gang’s daring deeds; how they delivered their booty in a variety of curious ways, once hiding it in the carcass of a goose. Using outlandish pseudonyms such as Bill Stickers, Red Biddy, Erb the Smasher and Granny the ; and why they wore masks and disguises to hide their true identities.

However the inner circle of the Gang had troubled personal relationships which drove them to dedicate their lives to help save England’s countryside and historical properties for the National Trust.[1]
