  • Has the Lead been updated to reflect the new content added by your peer? No, it has not. The student has not had the opportunity to edit or update the Wiki page.
  • Does the Lead include an introductory sentence that concisely and clearly describes the article's topic? Yes, the article goes right into detail about the subject which is the topic of online school.
  • Does the Lead include a brief description of the article's major sections? Yes it does. It has a topic section for all of its major points starting with Instructional Models and ending with Advantages and Disadvantages.
  • Does the Lead include information that is not present in the article? No, it seems all available information is in the article.
  • Is the Lead concise or is it overly detailed? It doesn't seem to be concise nor over detailed. There seems to be information needed in Pricing and location though.

  • Is the content added relevant to the topic? Yes, most of the information is relevant to the topic.
  • Is the content added up-to-date? Yes, the information is up to date all the way up to 2020, but provides little information on the year of covid(2020).
  • Is there content that is missing or content that does not belong? Like I stated before there is little information on the year of 2020.
  • Does the article deal with one of Wikipedia's equity gaps? Does it address topics related to historically underrepresented populations or topics? It goes into detail about gifted learned and self learner, but thats about it when it comes to underrepresented populations.

  2. We were trying to not make this a pandemic education page and focus more on virtual learning as a whole. I will bring covid to the group's attention.

  • Is the content added neutral? Yes, the content seems neutral.
  • Are there any claims that appear heavily biased toward a particular position? No , its doesn't seem biased in any direction. It even gives the advantages and disadvantages of the subject.
  • Are there viewpoints that are overrepresented, or underrepresented? Not really, but there doesn't seem to be any viewpoints of students that learn in a more social environment.
  • Does the content added attempt to persuade the reader in favor of one position or away from another? No, like I said before it doesn't seem very bias at all.

3. I will bring this up with the group, however, it never crossed our mind since if you're doing virtual school it almost always a choice, unless there is a pandemic or other situation that forces everyone to utilize online school

  • Are the sources thorough - i.e. Do they reflect the available literature on the topic? Yes, I clicked all of them and they seem to be very thorough.
  • Are the sources current? Yes and no. Most of the sources are from the last ten years.
  • Are the sources written by a diverse spectrum of authors? Do they include historically marginalized individuals where possible? All of the sources come from different authors, but no I don't think it includes historical marginalized individuals.
  • Check a few links. Do they work? Yes, all links do work.

  • Does the content added have any grammatical or spelling errors? No, I did not notice any spelling or grammatical errors.
  • Is the content added well-organized - i.e. broken down into sections that reflect the major points of the topic? Yes, it is well-organized and it is also broken down in bullet points for the reader.

  • Does the article include images that enhance understanding of the topic? Yes, there are two images which are both bar graphs.
  • Are images well-captioned? Yes, both of the bar graphs are labeled correctly.
  • Do all images adhere to Wikipedia's copyright regulations? Yes, it seems the former editor of the page made the image herself.
  • Are the images laid out in a visually appealing way? Yes they are. One is right on top of the other in the top right corner of the Wiki page.

  • Does the article follow the patterns of other similar articles - i.e. contain any necessary infoboxes, section headings, and any other features contained within similar articles? Yes, it does seem to follow the pattern of most Wiki articles.
  • Does the article link to other articles so it is more discoverable? Yes, this article does link to quite a few Wikipedia articles.

  • What are the strengths of the content added? Like I stated before there hasn't been any content added to the existing article.
  • How can the content added be improved? There are a few things that can be added to the article. There can be sources added from under represented populations and they can go into more detail of the current situation of virtual schooling.
