Fausto Cervantes Ortiz (October 1st, 1973, in Mexico City) is a Mathematician, Physicist, and Astronomer, living in Ottawa.
He was a student at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and a teacher in that university, as well as in other universities of Mexico City, such as the Metropolitan Autonomous University, the Autonomous University of Mexico City, and some private universities of Mexico.
He moved to Ottawa, where he now works for Statistics Canada, as a Methodologist.
