Sydney Walkers is a walking group established in 2011 by Daniel Parsa. The group is very informal. There is no fees or charges. Any body can join. There is only a risk waiver for members to sign and they have to read and accept certain rules and regulations. For example, the responsibilities of the walk leader, and the code of conduct of participants and what to do in case of emergency, like, snake bite, sudden change of weather and other life threatening circumstances. The group has enjoyed more than 40 day walks, and 2 overnight walks in the Blue Mountains and has ventured out as far as Tasmania and Bruny Island. The monthly walks are organized by volunteers and all members are inform via email.
