The Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR) is an Emirates advanced and independent research institution based in Abu Dhabi the capital city of the United Arab Emirates. ECSSR was founded as the "The Emirates Center for Strategic Studies and Research" by the UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan in 1994. The center conducts policy studies and strategic analyses of political, economic, and social spheres of human endeavor, with a specific focus on issues concerning international relations, trade, and formulate the most suitable responses and strategies for Decision Makers.
