HI. My name is Catherine Tate and I'm a dual national French American who has lived and travelled extensively during my lifetime around Europe and in the United States. I was born in the United States but have lived for half my life in France and for a short period in England. I mostly work independently in translation and interpreting from French to English. But I've also worked in marketing, project development and management, teaching English as a foreign language in the French school system, assisting children with Special Needs in the French school system, fashion design and fashion merchandising (in New York for a women's private label brand) and for 10 years in the wine industry (Oregon and Burgundy)in everything from vineyard pruning, harvesting, wine making (Pinot Noir), wine education, sales and export of wine(from France to US) and Enotourism.
I'm a newbie to Wikipedia and would like to use my skills and interests to contribute to the creation, improvement and translation of content. I welcome any advice on this new journey and look forward to becoming part of the community.
