Originally a classically trained piano zombie, Evan was interested in playing and creating music outside of the classical realm. Sadly, he only got around to it when the Diploma course he was studying in required a drummer. Better late than never, Evan took that opportunity given to him, and never looked back.
Since then, Evan has been actively involved in the contemporary music industry in his country. He has worked as a drum technician in several live events and post production studios, fixing drums and making drummers who don’t sound so good sound fantabulous. Evan has also been an active studio session drummer, recently recording drums for “It’s My Life” the musical, and for the Singapore National Environment Agency Eco Music Challenge 2011 album.
Evan’s goal in life is to play nice and happy grooves that works well for the music – and hopefully making the producer nice and happy in the process as well.
