Hi, I am a Japanese grad student currently studying in the U.S. My major is Computer Science. Particular interests include Computer Security, Distributed Systems, Software Engineering, and Computational Linguistics. I mainly program in Python, occasionally using Java and Common Lisp. I use FreeBSD for everyday's work, including web browsing and editing Wikipedia!
I have been a long time editor for Japanese Wikipedia, but also edit a bit of English articles when necessary. Most of the time, however, I saw English pages are way better and comprehensive, so I often ended up with working on translation from English articles to Japanese... Since I have some background in Linguistics, hopefully I can contribute in some Japanese language related pages.
