The International Federation of European Law, more commonly known under its French acronym FIDE (Fédération Internationale pour le Droit Européen) is an umbrella organisation whose members are the national associations for European Law in the Member States of the European Union, in the United Kingdom, in Norway and in Switzerland. FIDE was founded in 1961 and is incorporated as an international non-profit association under Belgian law.[1]
