Kenneth Kamal Scott, lyric tenor, is a seasoned performer who has participated in many arenas of America's artistic world, including the dance. He has been guest artist with the Boston Pops under John Williams, the Virginia Beach Pops, the New Jersey Philharmonic singing Uriel in Haydn’s Creation, and the lead tenor in the Messiah with the Nevada Symphony. Other engagements include, Sportin’ Life in Porgy and Bess with the Virginia Opera, Cover tenor for original "Three Mo' Tenors; “ Role of the 'Griot' in "Black Nativity" at the Fitzgerald Theatre, Minneapolis. Broadway credits include Hello Dolly, Guys & Dolls, Two Gentlemen of Verona, and the starring role of the 'Wiz' in the original Broadway Company and in the 2004 “Wiz” production in Houston, Texas at the Theater Under the Stars.

Regular recitalist in European classics and African-American Jazz. Recent concerts include, a recital at the Countee Cullen Library, Schomburg Museum, New York City, April 3, 2010, a debut recital at Merkin Hall, New York City, October 2004, and a portrayal of Roland Hayes in the prime of his career in Salt Lake City, Utah concert - "The Legacy of Roland Hayes."

Worked with choreographers; Alvin Ailey, George Balanchine, and Talley Beatty. First American dancer to participate with the Bolshoi Ballet on their first appearance in the United States. The Ballet was“Spartacus”.
