Elombe ELCIN Church
editElombe ELCIN Church is situated 10km east of Onayena Constituency in Oshikoto region of Namibia, Ondonga district.[1] Elombe is originated from churches like Epembe, Onayena and Oshigambo by around 700 people and it was established in the year 1974. Elombe ELCIN Church with a postal address of P O Box 585, Ondangwa is currently in charge of Rev. Debora Omagano Nuuyoma. The recorded number of Elombe members up to August 2012 is 1020 members and out of those 1020 members, 998 are baptised and 700 are confirmed.Former Pasters of Elombe church include Rev. Simon Iitula, Rev. Petrus Uugulu, Rev. Jistina Iyambo, and Rev.Namutewa Nambili.The current bishops of ELCIN Churches are Rev.Shekutaamba V V Nambala and Rev. Josephat Shanghala.[2] The former bishop of ELCIN church is Rev.Thomas shivute.[3] Since the church was established many years ago and it is now old, there is a construction for a new buildings which is still in progress, and the church is appealing for fellow Christians for contribution in terms of donations and fundraising toward the complete of our new big church that is able to accommodate all of our church members. The church service is held every sunday at 10:00am.
