My name is Dayle Turner, the teacher of Eng 22 (Intro to Expository Writing), a class that is part of the Upward Bound Program at Leeward Community College (Pearl City, Hawaii) in the summer of 2008. Nine students are enrolled in the class. The students are rising freshmen, sophomores, and juniors from James Campbell High School, Oroville High School, Waianae High School, Waipahu High School, and Yuba City High School. The class began in 13 June 2008 and ended on 17 July 2008.
