Ekamba Village
editEkamba village is located 18km west of Oshakati , Okatana Constituency in Oshana Region.The Headman [1] of the Ekamba Village is Mr Frans Nembenge. Ekamba is the centre of the traditional authorityof [Uukwambi]]. [2]. Ekamba is a big village where there are around 40 houses and more than 450 residents. There are many different kinds of animals found in the village where there is a large grazing area and the land is suitable for agricultural purposes .In Ekamba village is where the road to Onkani is Constructed.[3] There is also a center for disable and older people in Ekamba village. Ekamba village developed infrastructure including Ekamba clinic, Ekamba Elcin church , School such as Ekamba Combined School, Nakele Primary School and many Shebeens. Ekamba village have also numerous soccer fields,one volleyball and one netball. Its neighboring village such as Onenongo, Olulongo, and Oshipya.
