This is the user page of Dr. Emi Stuemke of the University of Wisconsin-Stout. I usually submit Wikipedia edits from a personal account, but I created a more public account to use in classroom demos for educational purposes.
This account is primarily used in conjunction with collaborative learning projects on Wikiversity. The students I supervise on Wikiversity are typically freshman in English 101 classes. Please respect that learning is a process, and most of these students genuinely do try to create quality work in good faith.
I specialize in medical and technical writing, and I am involved in many projects related to genre-based writing instruction, games in education, and public health literacy. I'm always happy to talk with other educators who are interested in using Wikiversity in the classroom.
