I'm a practicing book artist working in London (I'm originally from the States), and joined Wikipedia upon noticing that the entry for Artists' Books needed updating to reflect a more global perspective of the field. There is a great deal of activity in artists' books across the rest of the world (in Europe much of this pre-dates or is concurrent with the early developments in the field in the US), and I hope others will add input here on both the current and historical book art scenes in other countries.

I'm so happy you've been working on the artists' book page. When I started working on it a week or so ago, I was appalled. The only center listed was Philadelphis. I sent out a notice to some librarian listservs asking for assistance. I know there's a lot more to be done, but thanks for your contributions. --Sue Maberry 14:21, 22 July 2006 (UTC)
