I'm a recent graduate of the University of Colorado, BA in Physics and Linguistics, and I play the viola in two local groups, (in one of which I am also assistant conductor), as well as occasionally performing with quartets.

I have a lifelong love of music and consider the perpetuation of the public domain of the utmost importance. I believe that all public domain music should be available freely on the internet, which is why I transcribe and release public domain sheet music under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license (see http://www.emeraldimp.com/home/music/files.php) and contribute to the International Music Score Library Project. I also believe that information should be freely available, which is why I also occasionally help out with Wikipedia.

I currently work as a freelance computer programmer.
