3.1 Plural

The plural suffix is -tëjk in Ayutla Mixe.  A noun that is not marked as plural can take a plural referent. Nouns in Ayutla Mixe have the option to take plural form and the majority of the nouns don’t take plurality form, but all plurality forms need a human referent.[1] (Mendez 254)
