Greetings

I am returning to Wikipedia, having been a contributor many cycles ago.

My greatest hobby, now and forever, is remaining tortuously conflicted in my conclusions and fickle in my personal opinions on almost everything imaginable. As such, I endeavor not to impress my conclusions and opinions on the public at large, reserving these impressions for long-suffering friends and pets.

Reasons for being drawn back to editing:

1/ A belief in the nobility of the project.

2/ An itch to help tidy up some of the more sophomoric contributions emanating from well-meaning nascent Wikipedians engaged in class projects.

3/ Concern that the value of the project as an encyclopaedic source of information is being diminished by a frightening growth in censorious gatekeepers.

Please, please let reliable sources speak for themselves, 'making sure that all majority and significant minority views that have appeared in those sources are covered'

Editorialising and homebaked conclusion-drawing must never be allowed to take root here.
