I am a relatively seasoned WikiCat (17 years and 4 days). I work in healthcare quality management and dabble on Wikipedia in the little spare time I have. I am obviously not a native English speaker but this didn't stop me from driving some articles to FA status. I can contribute in at least three languages here but en.wikipedia is my territory of predilection.
I do get territorial sometimes, however, I restrict my scope of activity to creating and editing low-key and non-controversial subject articles that I enjoy. I'm into Levantine subaltern history and I admit that finding forgotten sources and sharing clips and anecdotes from archaeological digs, liturgical scrolls, or inscribed artifacts waiting to be correctly deciphered give me butterflies. Otherwise I try to highlight some lesser-known figures of early Lebanese journalism, Arab literature and art; other fields of interest include the Ancient and Roman Near East, Carthage, local flora and architectural heritage.
NB: I am happily committed  , a cat dad of two  , and animal lover  .
