The Thessaloniki International G.L.A.D. Film Festival is an international film award for films with LGBTQ+ topics. The creators can apply with short and long films, narratives, or documentaries on Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans, Intersex, and Queer people (LGBTQI+ issues) and focusing mostly on cohabitation and its consequences but also other themes are welcome.

The “T.I. G.L.A.D F.F.” is an initiative of the non-profit society "SYMPRAXI - Partnership for Gender Issues”, and takes place every year in Thessaloniki.

It is supported by the "Thessaloniki International Film Festival", the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports, Embassies, Consulates, Institutes, and LGBTQI and HIV organizations in Greece.

It cooperates with:

- Queer Lisboa / Festival Internacional de Cinema Queer (Associaçao Cultural Janela Indiscreta),

- Chéries-Chéris / Festival du film LGBTQ & +++ de Paris

- Festival Mix Milano di Cinema Gaylesbico e Queer Culture (Associazione Culturale Mix Milano),

- Festival ZINEGOAK/ Bilbao /Spain

and also with the Festival de Cine Internacional LGBTIQA+ en Córdoba /Argentina.

The “T.I. G.L.A.D. F.F.” provides parallel events: cultural and artistic expression and social dialogue that deal with gender and sexual orientation issues. It discusses the needs and the difficulties people faced because of homophobia, transphobia, and ideological/social hostility.

This festival is a non-profit event. For the festival are working volunteers but also external collaborators. No member of the non-profit organization SYMPRAXI is receiving any financial support for her/his work for the “T.I. L G.L.A.D F.F.”
