I'd been editing Wikipedia for almost ten years before I finally signed up for an account. Why the wait? I'm not a prolific contributor, usually correcting mistakes, so I didn't bother to create an account. Alas, some jokers were using some of my dynamically assigned IP block to spam Wikipedia and now I have an account. Please let me know if you have any wiki advice on my contributions!
