Purpose

This is a demo for parameters I would like added to {{Infobox Musical artist}}. This is not intended for use as a freestanding template.

Usage

 |grammy     = year [[full name of award|short name of award]]
 |downbeat   = year Poll
}}

• grammy is for artist awards only, not awards to particular works by an artist. For example, albums awards go on the article for that album. (This is necessary to avoid crowding the infobox for some artists.)
• downbeat has two polls: "Readers Poll" and "Critics Poll". (Do not use quotes.)

If no award parameters are entered, this entire box (including the word "Awards") is suppressed.
