TITLE edit

Well my name is Erika Collazo, and I am a senior majoring Psych. I took this class because I am a very attentive person who likes to read people in and out. I originally major in nursing and in the middle, I changed because I found myself always being the person whose helped people when they had problems. With that I figured my listening skills and observation ability were capable to work with people, so I decided to go further with knowing more about the personalities of people and also knowing the psychological aspect of individuals. So here I am in your class, learning more about the brain and knowing more about the consciousness part of it. Hopefully this class will continue to enlighten me and keep me wanting to know more about this specific topic. I am glad we have a professor who is able to keep us alert for 3 hours, as well as keep us smiling as we learn. Erika 11:44, 25 September 2013 (UTC)

Hello Everyone My Name is Erika, and i dont know what i am doing on here-- :-) Hopefully this is a valid edit to what my professor is requesting.

Artificial Consciousness is a basic study of how to design a consciousness machine. Many researchers feel that consciousness can probably be formed into a computer, but not sure on how it would be done. In this paper you will find discussions related to thoughts of the artificial consciousness and how they connect. Consciousness is generated by the interoperation of many parts of the brain and that’s called neural correlates of consciousness or NCC. It’s stated that proponents of artificial consciousness believe that it’s possible to construct a machine that can emulate tis NCC interoperation. In this paper I will discuss the thoughts of artificial consciousness, artificial intelligence and testing used for artificial consciousness.

Artificial Consciousness’ has some thoughts, one being phenomenal consciousness which is basically an assumption of neural structures of it. And they also state that epiphenomena of the brain. The other thought if the functionality of consciousness and how it’s found by psychology. As spoken in class phenomenal consciousness consist of episodes of actual experiences and what it is like to recap those experiences in your own consciousness state of mind. When you have experiences in seeing things, it becomes part of your phenomenal aspect of thinking. Usually thoughts rerun themselves in our minds making them artificial consciousness. They explain that our brain has the functionality of a computer but just as a computer can get damage our brains can also have the same effect as well. ~~ erika
