Ponko Chicken is a restaurant in Stone Mountain, Georgia on U.S. Route 78, with franchises in other communities in Georgia. It was formerly known as Food Ease, and has been reviewed in the Atlanta Journal-Constitution newspaper.[1] [2] The restaurant offers a variety of All-American Asian infused cuisine, including chicken, rice, and fries.

Ponko chicken is a family owned business that serves a mix of American food, combined with Japanese flavors. The signature dish is the original Ponko Chicken, which is skinless chicken tenders, fried and battered in secret sauces. Many locals in the area would normally describe the restaurant as "Japanese Soul Food". Not only is Ponko chicken popular with local teenagers in the area, but with young children and adults as well. You have the option of either take out or dining in. Ponko Chicken also offers catering for special occasions or small family affairs. Ponko Chicken is located off Hwy. 78 in Stone Mountain, Georgia and is open Monday through Saturday for lunch and dinner and closed on Sundays.

Ponko Chicken gives its customers a wide variety of items to choose from. All meals come with a choice of two sides: rice, potato salad, fries, cole slaw, raw veggies or green salad. Depending on whether the customer chooses the regular meal or the large meal; they have the choice of four or six pieces of original, spicy, BBQ, or plain as flavors for the chicken. Ponko chicken also has Grilled Island Fusion Chicken or Classic Ginger Teriyaki Chicken. They also have Ponko Salads with homemade dressings including signature sweet sesame or walnut cilantro vinaigrette. For deserts they have chocolate fix cake and carrot cake. They also have ponko mini-meals, family value meals, and kids' meals. As far as drinks go, they have their signature drink Ponko Punch, along with fountain drinks and sweet/unsweet tea.
