Lika Minamoto (in Japanese : 源利華) (b. 1982) is a Japanese model and actor.[1]

Career edit

During her university studies, Lika Minamoto joined a modeling agency in Tokyo. Minamoto then moved to Paris to study classical dance. She was approached by a modeling agency and continued her international career in New York and Milan. She has participated in advertising campaigns mainly for cosmetic products Kenzo, L'Oréal, La Roche Posay, Wella, Garnier as well as for Lacoste.

Minamoto has appeared in videos for Pet Shop Boys, David Hallyday, Alain Chamfort, Passi, Jean-Louis Aubert and Farin Urlaub.

In 2006, Minamoto was cast member for the film Inju: The Beast in the Shadow by Barbet Schroeder. The director is impressed by her performance and decided that she will be the heroine of his next film. Schroeder fought for more than 18 months to convince her. Although the film was not a critical success , articles from the New York Times or la Repubblica highlight the performance of the actress.

Since 2010, Lika Minamoto is the face of Flower perfume by Kenzo.[2][3]
