His Grace Devarshi Srivas Prabhuji was born in the year 1983 in Sunamganj, Bangladesh. He pursued his academics until 2007 when he was awarded the master’s degree in mathematics. Prabhuji joined the ISKCON movement in 2001 and later surrendered to the service of ISKCON Sylhet temple as a full time monk (Brahmachari) in 2008. His Holiness Jayapataka Swami Guru Maharaja bless him with Harinaam initiation in 2007 and then Brahminical initiation in 2010.
Since 2006 he is officiating as the coordinator of IYF Sylhet under the directions of His Holiness Bhakti Advaita Navadwip Swami Maharaj and tirelessly serving the youth community to preserve the cultural tradition among them and to guide the distracted young generation to realise and understand the vedic teaching and live their life as good human beings and devotees.
Keeping up with modern times and trends, prabhuji uses the internet to reach out to a large section of internet saavy and techy youth and his videos are viewed by millions. As a part of his social media preaching initiatives prabhuji runs a hugely popular Gauradesh TV youtube channel.
Prabhuji is also a certified teacher of Bhakti Sashtri and Bhakti Vaibhav. He is seeking all of your causeless mercy to serve Guru & Gauranga as an insignificant servant., and vice versa.
