Black Sea in the history of the Black Sea. The one named the first change of the name "Axinos Pontos" (inhospitable sea). "Black Sea" means hospitable sea.
Mythology edit
According to Greek mythology, the god Pontus, the son of Ether and Gaia lived in this place. As soon as Jason sailed the sea, the Argonauts marched on the campaign. Autolycus (the year of the Argonauts' campaign) founded Sinope, the first state of Pontus.
