Varieties of neoclassical dark wave edit
There is wide variation of emphases and styles among artists in the Neoclassical Dark Wave genre. In some bands there is a strong emphasis on dark fantasy and myth (WeltenBrand, Narsilion). In other bands the emphasis is on the ambiguities of contemporary love (Amber Asylum, Love Is Colder Than Death, Black Tape for A Blue Girl). Other bands emphasize a dark medieval style (Arcana, Dargaard). Still others have a close connection to New Age (Ashram) or Neo-Folk (Ataraxia).
