Gweech. An artist who is originally from Sandusky, Ohio got his start in music by “free styling” for local corner boys who took a liking to his rhymes and how quick he could come up with them off the top of the head. Gweech then started participating in local Rap Battles at various venues going on a undefeated streak which led him to start to be offered other Rap Battle opportunities in surrounding cities. Things started to really take off for him once he and a few friends went to Chicago to perform at the “Coast 2 Coast” artist showcase and took home second place. Even though some of the success started to roll in the issue of not being able to record his songs at will started to slow down his pace of putting out new material. To solve this issue Gweech began to utilize his iPhone and record and edit his own songs in the app GarageBand. This caught the attention of Iconic Entertainment who took a liking to how quick he could come up with new material time after time after time. After a short stint working with each other and two albums later, Gweech and Iconic decided to go separate ways and continue to create content respectively. Gweech dropped three more additional albums after the split from Iconic, one of them entitled “Life” was a collaborative effort between him and the entertainment group “Show City”. Gweech is preparing to drop the latest installment in his Heat God series, Heat God 2 on all major platforms. You can find Gweech’s music on ITunes, Apple Music, Spotify, as well as Tidal and Youtube. Also you can find him on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook by simply typing in his name. Other than that as he would like to say “Google him”.
