Patrick Rose (Dragon909) is a 16 year old schoolboy from Salford, Manchester in the UK. His birhtday is the 25th of October He mainly signed up for when he had to research ideas and articles and saw slight gramatical errors.

Name Origin

The name Dragon909 comes from Patrick's obsession with Dragon's and an account on RuneScape which forced him to add numbers on the end. His original account was Paddy909, with a second account called Gonegal_Rose (Yes, Gonegal was spelt wrong), which was created after reading The Wee Free Men by Terry Pratchett

Interests

Patrick Rose is first and foremost a gamer, who plays on a PC and Playstation 2. His Gaming interests are FPS, RTS and RPG. Notable games he is enjoying include:

• Crysis
• Mafia: The City of Lost Heaven
• RoadKill
• Unreal Tournament 2004
• Team Fortress 2

He also is a Flash programmer, yet none of his works have been accepted by what he calls the 'Proper Judging Panel'. What he means is Newgrounds portal. He has created:

• Stick Death 1, 2 and 3 ( An animation in which a stick figure dies. The first was a bomb, the second thrown off a cliff, and the third hit by a train)
• Log-in Tutorial (A tutorial to creating a log-in sequence. This was used in the Liturgy Mystery)
• Liturgy Mystery (A very simple game, which involved finding a user name and Password and inputting it into the dialog box to help find the murderer. It was created for the St. Patricks High School Liturgy Group)
• A shooting game (Very simple, and very easy)
• His next project will be a Flash Game, which will involve playing guitar on the keyboard (similar to the PC game Frets on Fire, or Guitar Hero, utilising a Dropkick Murphys song (Probably Skinhead on the M.B.T.A)

His musical interests are very varied. His favourite at the moment are Dropkick Murphys because 'It's Punk Bagpipes. Come on, you gotta love it!'. Other favourites are Me First and the Gimme Gimmes ('Finally, Hello sounds good!'), Reel Big Fish (Rock and Roll... with Horns!), Mad Caddies (See Reel Big Fish), Lemon Demon ('Funny Guy') and he also enjoys Miles Davis ('Best Jazz artist in the world')

Musical Taste is a very interesting thing with him, as bands which a lot of people like he tends to hate on principle. Reasons stated include:

1. I'm not a sheep
2. My musical tastes are unique, and so I'm unique
3. Some of that stuff is horrible

He also is a musician, who plays the Piano, Trombone and Guitar. Mostly Jazz is played on Piano and Trombone, but not on guitar, as 'It's too hard, and I imporvise better on Piano anyway'. On guitar, he plays Dropkick Murphys songs and Ska songs.

He is currently starting a Ska band, called Skazz, for which he will provide backing vocals and play Trombone

10 Things to Do before I Die

He created a list of things to do before he dies. This consists of:

1. Complete a Time Crisis in the arcade (Completed in June 2006)
2. Have a Takeaway Pizza (Completed 24th of August_
3. Throw a House Party
4. Complete any Final Fantasy (Almost completed in 2000, however a memory card failure caused a failure)
5. Write a Book (In Process of completion, not scheduled for completion any time soon)
6. Get something through the Newgrounds Portal
7. Buy a Husky
8. Live in Korea for a while
9. Compete in/Watch a Professional Gaming Match (He is currently a member of the Java Server League, and as such isplaying matches of TF2, playing as the soldier)
10. Build a PC (His current job means that he helps build one. He however wants to build it all from scratch, buying all components and cases and then connecting it up himself)
