Dr Katie J T Herrington is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of York interested in editing Wikipedia entries pertaining to nineteenth-century British women artists. Katie received her doctorate in History of Art in 2013 for her thesis, Katie J. Tyreman, Between Women: Visualizing Victorian Women Artists’ Identities through Art Movements, Media and Scale, c. 1848-1898, University of York Thesis, 2013 which she completed in the Department of History of Art. She leads a Tate British Art Network Sub Group entitled 'British Women Artists 1750-1950'. The Sub Group's members are curators and scholars who are actively working on British women artists of that period.
