I am a engineer who has occasion to be Silicon Valley and Northern Virginia frequently. I get to meet many of the most colorful characters in this field. The real life goings on here are more interesting then most dramas. Some of the researchers who work in these areas are more over-the-top than their fictional counter-parts.
I write only about things I have first hand knowledge of, mostly cyber security, critical infrastructure, government agencies etc. I never write about my own organization as that would be a Conflict of Interest, but I do write about people and organizations I come in contact with. Many serve significant public functions (usually defined by saving lives).
