I am a researcher working in high-performance scientific computing and computational science (often with a focus in computational geoscience). I hold a Ph.D. in computer science and also have formal training in physics and the Earth sciences, and have held various academic and national laboratory appointments in computer science and Earth and planetary sciences. I primarily conduct original research and also serve in some editorial roles for academic journals, but I try to contribute to Wikipedia when I see articles in my areas of expertise that could use some improvement. My professional webpage is at https://climatemodeling.org/~rmills/
