“My Old Dog: Rescued Pets with Remarkable Second Acts” (New World Library, ISBN 978-1-60868-340-6) is a 2015 non-fiction book by Laura T. Coffey (author) and Lori Fusaro (photographer). The book is a collection of stories featuring dogs adopted in their later years. The accounts of people involved in the senior-dog-rescue movement include a group of older nuns; Hollywood actor and filmmaker George Clooney; former Nordstrom Chairman Bruce A. Nordstrom and his wife, Jeannie; U.S. military veterans; law-enforcement officers; photographers; schoolteachers, and many others. Also featured is Bretagne, the last known surviving search dog who worked at Ground Zero following the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

The book features 19 dog profiles along with a section on “How You Can Help” and a 12-page resource guide of organizations that help senior animals and veterans.
