Donnie (Donald) Pitchford is a retired educator-broadcaster in Texas. He is currently a commercial artist producing the "Lum and Abner" comic strip. Additionally, he has produced cover and interior art for the magazine "Charlton Spotlight" for Argo Press, Austin, Texas.
