A World Without Rain
inspired by Sonnet 1
The rain drops keep falling,
none directing itself,
though they may try.
all at the mercy of the wind,
the day the sun comes out and the rain stops
a dark day it will be indeed.
a day without rain is a day without despair
a day without misery
a day without emotion
a day in which the world is simple
a day in which the flowers bloom with none to see
none to watch
to hope
to pray
a day without rain a sad day will be indeed.
I for one hope to never see this day come to pass
