Overview
edit
List of Extra-parochial areas in England and Wales at the time of the first 6-inch edition of the Ordnance Survey.
The maps included the area of most civil parishes and their detached parts, extra-parochial areas and townships. The area was given in acres to three decimal places. As boundary changes occurred throughout the late 19th century reprints of map sheets would be updated with annotations detailing these changes.
