Do you like lace, Darling?

I know, I know. Obscure name. But there's a story behind the tagline and that's for another time. Anyway. I'm here to study at Wayne Marshall's ElectroClass 2007[1] at Harvard University's Extension School.[2]

Previous West Coaster finding my way East for the last few years. Generally excited about music in general. I play the piano and bass guitar; particular love of mine happens to be singing. I am taking this course because though I am familiar with classical music, electronic is not my forte and I want to learn more about it. Admittedly, I'm a little bit prejudiced in regard to this genre (or should I say this umbrella?) of music, simply because I don't much about it in general and I have preconcieved ideas about it. When I think 'electonic music' I picture angsty 18-year-old teens appropriately fit with JNCO pants, oversized hoodies, and bright yellow glowsticks in their mouths. Hence, I admit my own ignorance, as well. I'm honestly excited about electronic music, though. First class was awesome and it immediately corrected my initial point-of-view. Pretty excited to continue learning more and I'm really looking forward to building my own music pieces of music as well.
