Dishonesty in the workplace

There are many employee behaviors that potentially affect the images of an organizations. Dishonesty can be encouraged amongst employer. It is generally agreed to be immoral, yet people still engage in dishonest behavior. This dishonest behavior can affect the company.[1]

Sweat Shops Immigrant workers are exploited by having to work in sweatshops, and forced to over work and get underpay. The high-end apparel industry is very lucrative businesses. Factory typically does not pay minimum or overtime wages and fails to adhere to health and safety regulations. In January 1998, sixty-one percent of the garment firms in Los Angeles did not obey wage and hour laws, and in 1997, ninety-six percent of the companies violated health and safety rules.[2]


Sexual Harassment in the workplace Sexual harassment occurs when one individual ( whether it’s a male or female) takes a sexual interest in the other person while at work and try to exploit them. The act of objectifying the target could lead to the feeling of insecurities, and pressures to leave the company.[3]
