Darrell Rowden Biography
edit- This is the user page for Darrell Rowden Jr. I am 29 years old and am a resident of Dallas, Texas. During my free time, I enjoy reading, playing video games, practicing my skills with Adobe Photoshop and spending time with my friends.
- I have been living in Dallas since the Summer of 2000 after graduating from Hooks High School. I began attending college at the University of Texas at Dallas not long after moving here and remained there until graduating in Fall of 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts in Art & Technology. While there I took part in various extracurricular activities and was an active college student.
- In the summer of 2004 I began working for Terminal Reality Inc., a video game developer formerly located in Lewisville, TX, as a QA Tester and Database Entry specialist. While employed there for the first time, I entered all the bugs found by all testers into the company database for the video game BloodRayne 2. While working there I continued as a full-time student at the University of Texas at Dallas. After the project was finished, I left Terminal Reality and continued towards my Bachelor's Degree until I graduated in December of 2004. After graduation, I began working for Remedy Intelligent Staffing. While there, I began a temporary assignment as a File Clerk working for Tuesday Morning Inc. I worked there until the contract with Tuesday Morning ended, at which point I was offered another temporary QA Tester position at Terminal Reality. This time I worked on the video game Aeon Flux. After this project was completed I returned to Tuesday Morning as File Clerk again. This time, I was able to become a full time employee. After a couple of months, I was promoted to a HR Records Administrator. I continued working at Tuesday Morning for two more years, until which point I was offered a full-time position at Terminal Reality as a Technical Support Specialist. I worked for two years at Terminal Reality until I was laid off. I then began working at the Telvista Inc Call Center as a Technical Support Representative for Verizon. After I ended my employment there I began working at Aerotek Staffing. I began contract work for Mercer Consulting on behalf of American Airlines.
Hooks High School
editI began attending Hooks High School in the Fall of 1996 and graduated in the Spring of 2000. While there I was a member of the Football Team for all four years and a member of the Powerlifting Team for my final two years. I was also chosen to participate in the Outstanding Young Man program by Delta Sigma Theta sorority during my senior year and earned a $500 scholarship towards my college tuition.
University of Texas at Dallas
editI began attending the University of Texas at Dallas in the Fall of 2000 and graduated in the Fall of 2004. I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Art & Technology. While there I was a charter member of school chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). I served as both the Secretary and as a Senator while I was a student. Beginning in the Fall of 2001, I began working at the School of Engineering & Computer Science as an Office Assistant under the Work Study Program. I worked as an Office Assistant for almost three years, during that time I was elected Student Employee of the Year on two separate occasions. The Intramural Flag Football that I was a member of also won the school Intramural Championship in 2003.
Terminal Reality Inc.
editI initially began working at Terminal Reality in the Summer of 2004 as a QA tester and Database Entry specialist for BloodRayne 2. I worked there until the Fall of 2004. I then later returned in the Summer of 2005 as a QA Tester for Aeon Flux and remained until the Fall of 2005. I returned in the Spring of 2008 as a Technical Support Specialist. While there I also worked as a QA tester on multiple projects and also created Wiki tutorials and test plans for the company exclusive game engine the Infernal Engine. In the multiple times I was employed with Terminal Reality I worked on the following projects:

- Def Jam Rapstar
- Infernal Engine
Tuesday Morning Inc.
editI began working for Tuesday Morning Corporate Office in the Spring of 2005 and worked there until the Summer of 2005 as a temporary File Clerk. After I completed the contract I was offered a position at Terminal Reality as a QA Tester. I returned in the Fall of 2005 on a full time basis as a File Clerk until I was promoted to a HR Records Administrator a couple of months later. I remained in that position until the Spring of 2008 when I was offered a full-time position at Terminal Reality Inc.

I am also a fan of Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series and I have read the following books in the series:

Unfortunately I started in the middle of the series, but I've started back at the beginning and will catch up soon.
I also own several video game systems. I currently own a Xbox 360, Nintendo Gamecube, Playstation 2 and a Nintendo DS. I previously owned a Sega Genesis, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Nintendo Entertainment System, Sony Playstation and two Nintendo Gameboys. I have been playing video games since I was six and have amassed a large collection. I am currently a fan of the Mass Effect and Batman: Arkham series of games.
